This fulltime position reports to IT management and is responsible for the resolution and maintenance of production systems and applications for an international BPO and end-to-end solutions provider across seven locations. Responsibilities will include:
Immediate response, repair and recovery of escalated issues from the Application Support Specialist.
Work cross-functionally in IT on application implementation and support.
Handle critical operational tasks as well as on demand requests.
Identify and provide permanent resolution for recurring issues and problem trends.
Identify processes that could be automated through scripting and schedulers.
At least 3 years in a technical support role or a development role focused.
Proficient in writing SQL queries on Microsoft SQL database.
Proficient using Windows command line tools: Power Shell, Scripting, Task Automation.
Proficiency in administering Citrix, VMWare.
Understanding of Information Security.
Ability to administer and deploy new applications and systems as organizational needs require.
Possess high level critical thinking skills and the ability to identify, address and resolve complex issues.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrated team player focused on delivering results and who will promote innovation and teamwork.
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills are required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent education/professional work experience.
