-Associates degree or higher -3+ years’ experience in similar or related field -Certifications in Microsoft, N+ and A+ -Working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control -Strong client-facing and communication skills -Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills -Excellent customer service skills -Proactive and independent worker with time management skills Some of the duties for this position are: - Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. - Respond to queries either via the ticketing system, e-mail and / or over the phone. - Properly document the tickets before storing in Knowledge Base - Instruct computer users on accomplishing certain task - Walk customer through problem-solving process. - Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. - Clean up computers. - Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems. - Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. - Install computer peripherals for users. - Follow up with users to ensure issue has been resolved. - Gain feedback from users about computer usage. - Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur - Assist with Infrastructure upgrades and research technical concepts for customer solutions
